Use Windows software on Linux

One of the biggest limitation that most user have when they would like to migrate from Microsoft Windows to Linux is that some application they are too familiar with (and maybe have spent some money on to get the license) is available only for Windows. Fortunately there is Wine (https://www.winehq.org/) an Open Source (and free) implementation of the Windows API on top of X, OpenGL, and Unix.

I hope you can find this mini-guide useful. It just contains some hints and tips about KOTOR and it isn’t a full walkthrough. Also I am not trying to illustrate the best ways to create your character and play the game, since I’m still not experienced enough on KOTOR and also because the best character/game play depends on your taste. 🙂
