<p>The announcement come with a <a title="Android 1.5 Highlights" rel="external nofollow" href="http://developer.android.com/sdk/preview/features.html" target="_blank">list of changes</a> that Android 1.5 will bring. Some example are:</p>
<ul>
<li>Animated window transitions (off by default);</li>
<li>Faster Camera start-up and image capture;</li>
<li>Much faster acquisition of GPS location (powered by SUPL AGPS);</li>
<li>Speedier GMail conversation list scrolling;</li>
<li>Updated browser with latest Webkit browser &amp; Squirrelfish Javascript engines.</li>
</ul>
<p>Of course on the announcement Google is warning that this version of the Android 1.5 SDK is just a preview and therefore some aspects may change before the final release expected to be available around the end of this month.</p>

<p><span id="more-1389"></span>Considering the size Google has achieved during the years, from a garage-based search engine to a global corporation, it is nice to know that they are offering localized &#8220;walls&#8221; where they can be transparent about they positions and actions on the various markets.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Not even two months have passed since the release of <a title="Firefox 3 finally released" href="http://marcodifresco.wordpress.com/2008/06/17/firefox-3-finally-released/" target="_self">Firefox 3</a> and Mozilla, the foundation behind the popular browser, already started to gather ideas for future products.</p>

<p>The idea involves a forum open to everyone, regardless of their programming skills, where people can suggest ideas, point of views, comments, etc. for new software applications.</p>
<p>Mozillla did not stated what kind of suggestion it is seeking, but on the contrary it explicitly asked the people to open their creativity and post anything they would like to see in future products regardless of the feasibility.</p>
<p>The announcement has been made on Monday, August 04th on the <a title="Introducing the Concept Series; Call for Participation" href="http://labs.mozilla.com/2008/08/introducing-the-concept-series-call-for-participation/" target="_blank">Mozilla&#8217;s blog</a>.</p>
