Hi all,
as I mentioned on my last post, I given up (due to time constraints) on reporting daily news on the IT industry and I was going to focus on computer guides and editorials on topics that are really breaking news.

Well … I decided to start with the latter, by reporting the news that Blizzard is releasing on BlizzCon 2009 about the third expansion of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

Another week has passed and a new bugfix updated has been released by Blizzard for World of Warcraft: Patch 3.1.1a. As usual the patch is released today to the U.S. servers and tomorrow to the E.U. servers.

Just a week after the release of the World of Warcraft Patch 3.1.0 Blizzard released a bugfix update, World of Warcraft Patch 3.1.1, on the U.S. servers. As usual, the E.U. servers will get the patch tomorrow.

After only 4 days since the last change on the PTR version of the Patch 3.1.0 Blizzard released the final version on the U.S. servers. As usual, the E.U. servers will get the patch tomorrow.

Blizzard updated the list of changes that Patch 3.1.0 will bring to World of Warcraft on April, 10th. The patch is still on PTR (Public Test Realms) so it may still change before the official release.

24 hours are remaining for the official release of the second expansion of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

You surely noticed that lately I did not write too often. The main reason is that I “wasted” a lot of hours on this addictive games in order to finish few remaining content of the first expansion of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.

Of course for the next few days I will spend a lot of time on WLK so the blog will appear to be dormient, but I promess you that I will get back with a review.

The World of Warcraft Patch 3.0.3 has been released yesterday on the U.S. realms and today on the E.U. realms. It is very similar to the PTR patch.

The World of Warcraft Patch 3.0.2 has been released less than a week ago and Blizzard is already testing the next pre-expansion patch 3.0.3.

Blizzard confirmed that the second expansion of World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King, has reached the “gold status”, meaning that the installation CDs are under production. The release date of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King has been set for November 13th.

Meanwhile, Blizzard is releasing the “World of Warcraft Patch 3.0.2″ as a pre-expansion patch to bring to the current game some of the “World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King” changes. This patch will hit the U.S. servers tomorrow October, 14th and the European servers on Wednesday October 15th.

The following is the last version of the patch notes for the PTR (Public Test Realm); while it is not granted that all the following changes will remain unmodified in the official patch, it is unlikely that there will be any major modification.
