Wine 1.1.18 Released

Adobe released yesterday Adobe Reader 9.1 for both Linux and Solaris x86.
Canonical announced that it will provide updatets to Ubuntu 7.10 only until April 18, 2009 and therefore users are raccomended to upgrade their system to either the 8.04 (that it is a LTS - Long Term Support) or even the 8.10.
Linus Torvalds announced yesterday evening that the Linux Kernel 2.6.29 has been released.
Google introduced few days ago the “European Public Policy Blog“, a blog dedicated to represents Google’s “messages and opinions in Brussels and around Europe, engaging with policymakers and the press on issues that affect the Internet and its role in modern society”.
In the last few days you have probably noticed that there were problems in accessing the internal page of this blog.
Well … I was doing some change on the hosting configuration and of course it didn’t went as planned.
Anyway now everything is working as intended.

As you can read on the “Guides” section, the original purpose of this site was to host some guide about computers and only collaterally IT news.
Now it ended up quite the opposite, but nevertheless why not keep trying?
While with the term “guide” I usually mean some long explanation about some complex topic, with this post I want to start to include also mini-guides on very specific topics.
